08. Seminario. ATTRIBUTES OF QUALITY TEACHING IN HIGHER EDUCATION: THE PSYCHOSOCIAL LITERATURE AND THE EDUCATIONAL PERSPECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION AREA (EHEA)

Objetivos

1. The overall objectives of the mobility is to promote the teaching exchange between European university and specifically to contribute to the development of the relationships between the University of Chieti-Pescara and the University of Oviedo.
2. The added value of the mobility (in the context of the modernization and internationalization strategies of the institutions involved): To promote research collaboration on students' perception of competence in academic context and evaluation of teaching quality in Higher Education.
3. Expected outcomes and impact (e.g. on the professional development of the teaching staff member and on the competences of students at both institutions): Broader understanding about the topic of professional competence in academic contexts and about the assessment of the quality teaching in Higher Education.

Contenidos

Content of the teaching program:

• Profile from the perspective of university students: evidences from quantitative and qualitative research Attributes of quality teaching in the educational perspective of the european higher education area (EHEA).
• Attributes of quality teaching in higher education: a review of the literature.
• The ideal university teacher's.
• Assessing the quality of teaching activities and the validity of students' opinions.

Perfil profesional de los ponentes

Chiara Berti is Associate Professor of Social Psychology of the University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy). She received the National Scientific Habilitation for the role of Full Professor of Social Psychology by Italian Ministry of Education University and Research. She has been an elected member of the Italian University Council (C.U.N.) (2013-2021). After Graduate Studies of Medicine and Surgery at University of Bologna, Italy, she followed Postgraduate Studies of Psychology at University of Bologna and Postgraduate Studies of Psychiatry at University of Ancona, Italy. Her most recent research fields include, among others, social representation, social psychology of justice, educational justice, juridical psychology and community psychology.
